Crisis of Conscience

When my sister Christina and I joined facebook back in 2009, so many others were also joining. It seemed to be touted as a new way of interaction, and was purported to be friend and family friendly.
Facebook was supposed to be a place where, in our crazy work-a-day world, if you were separated from family, or friends (and because of the insane work schedules everyone was still experiencing), nevertheless you could still be a PART of your family -both near and distant.
Lost friends and long distance family members were to be found there and everyone could re-connect. In a strange, yet sweet sort of way, it was a kind of “I’ll meet you over the backyard fence where we can talk” Garden of Eden.
